Blogger is simple. It’s accessible anywhere in the world. It works on phones, tablets, and laptops. No complicated hosting. No distractions. Just space to tell the story the right way. When you’re talking about fair trade, farmer partnerships, and sustainability commitments, clarity matters more than flash (Hines, 2022).
I looked at the Human Rights Watch blog (https://www.hrw.org/blog-feed/blog) as a model. They cover complex global issues, but their design stays clean and consistent. The layout doesn’t compete with the message. It supports it. That’s exactly what ethical coffee communication should do.
The template I chose uses warm earth tones and clean typography. Coffee starts in the soil. The colors reflect that. Browns and subtle greens feel grounded and authentic, not corporate. The layout leaves breathing room for long-form explanations about sourcing and accountability. No clutter. No hard sell.
Trust online isn’t just built with good words. It’s built with good experience (Shewan, 2023). If the site feels overwhelming or overly promotional, the message loses credibility. This design keeps the focus where it belongs — on transparency, responsibility, and real action.
Rebuilding trust doesn’t require noise. It requires consistency. This platform gives us the right foundation to do exactly that.
